Let me ask you a simple question. When was the last time you woke up truly refreshed? Not just out of bed but also clear in your head, light in your body, and calm in your breath? All these 3 things are equally important and interconnected.
If you have difficulties in answering it, as they say ….. you’re not alone.
This is very common now. Young professionals, parents, and even teenagers are showing early signs of what we call “lifestyle disorders.” Their blood tests might look okay, but their body are already struggling.
Here’s what I tell my patients to watch for:
→ Feeling tired in the morning, even after a full night’s sleep
→ Being hungry at odd times, or never feeling truly hungry
→ That 3 PM slump where the brain just stops cooperating
→ Feeling bloated, constipated, or uneasy after meals
→ Snapping at loved ones or feeling low for no real reason
According to Ayurveda medical protocols, these are not “normal” — they’re early warnings.
So what can you do?
You don’t need to overhaul your life. Just start with one or two of these:
1.Respect your rhythm
Go to bed and wake up at the same time daily. Start your day with warm water. Avoid screens before sleep. Small? Yes. Powerful? Absolutely.
2. Eat when the fire is strong
Make lunch your main meal. Eat dinner before 8 PM. And stop eating just because you’re bored. Observe hunger
3. Move kindly, not aggressively
You don’t need to be aggressive with your body to be fit. A walk, light yoga, or even 10 minutes of stretching is a good start.
4.Sit still for 2 minutes
Right after waking up, just sit. No phone. No to-do list. Just breathe. Let your body catch up with your mind.
5. Support your body’s natural detox gently
Ignore all the extreme juice cleanses or online detox methods you see online. What you need is seasonal cleansing, but only when your body is ready, and under guidance. Even small changes like warm water, light dinners, and proper sleep can help your body reset and mind you, it’s cleansing. And some simple mindful breathing every day and you are detoxifying.
What happens if you actually do this?
Here’s my guarantee as a doctor:
If you follow even 2 or 3 of these consistently for 3 weeks, your body will respond.
You’ll notice better sleep. More energy. Less bloating. Clearer thoughts. And most importantly—you’ll feel more in control of your health.
You don’t have to believe me. Just let your body prove it to you.
I’m not here to tell you to stop modern medicine. That would be foolish. But these simple steps will make a change in you.
Even if you’re not dealing with a diagnosis right now, your body is giving you feedback, but are you observing it
Start small. Start today. And if you’re unsure what your body needs, reach out. Let’s figure it out together
